That's what one of the most famous architects in Brazil had in mind when he designed the Museum of Contemporary Art in Niteroi, at the Boa Viagem (Good Travel) viewpoint. The museum is considered, since its creation, one of the most beautiful cultural icons and postcards of the City.
 

Opened in September 1996, its architecture resembles that of a flying saucer and the futuristic facade offers visitors an unparalleled panoramic view. The structure of MAC is complex due to the type of work, loose in the air, with a single central support and circular shape. With 16 meters high, 50 meters in diameter, its structure was designed to support a weight equivalent to 400 kg/m² and wind speeds of up to 200 km/h.
