Casa Roberto Marinho

This is one of the many beautiful cultural events you can go to in Rio. Born in 1939, the house was built by the engineer César Melo Cunha, assistant to Joseph Gire who was responsible for the projects for Copacabana Palace and the Laranjeiras Palace. This house was a stage for music, literature, visual arts and theater events. Nowadays, it holds some art expositions of renowned international and national artists. It also has a little restaurant where you can taste some of our raw and pure grains of Brazilian coffee and have a delicious gastronomic experience. We strongly recommend this one. 

Dance at the birth place of Samba!

Pedra do Sal is the outdoor event, a historical monument that brings together Rio’s best samba musicians for an impromptu samba jam. It is a different and joyfull, alternative day or nightlife event, although the samba begins at 19 PM. The place has a different historical energy, where samba was born and it makes you instantly happy with all the music and dancing people. Pedra do Sal is a historic and religious site in Rio de Janeiro, the place was originally a quilombo village. An association group still lives there, formally known as theIt takes place every Monday and Friday with animated music, lively dancing and an endless flow of potent caipirinhas, or the classic cold beer everyone needs just to cool down and enjoy the environment. 

Forte de Copacabana and Arpoador

The Copacabana Fort is a military base at the south end of the beach that defines the district of Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. The base is open to the public and contains the Historical Museum and a coastal defense fort that is the actual Fort Copacabana. Go to the place that inspired one of the most famous Brazillian songs in the world! It's a wonderful feeling to sit and eat at the bar immortalized by Vinicius and Tom, two of the most prestigious creators of Bossa Nova. Museum of Contemporary Art Niteroi

"The sea, the mountains of Rio, a magnificent landscape that should be preserved". Second, "(...) And I felt that the museum would be beautiful and so different from the others that rich and poor would be happy to visit it." Oscar Niemeyer That's what one of the most famous architects in Brazil had in mind when he designed the Museum of Contemporary Art in Niteroi, at the Boa Viagem (Good Travel) viewpoint. The museum is considered, since its creation, one of the most beautiful cultural icons and postcards of the City. Opened in September 1996, its architecture resembles that of a flying saucer and the futuristic facade offers visitors an unparalleled panoramic view. The structure of MAC is complex due to the type of work, loose in the air, with a single central support and circular shape. With 16 meters high, 50 meters in diameter, its structure was designed to support a weight equivalent to 400 kg/m² and wind speeds of up to 200 km/h.

The Maracana Experience

Welcome to Maracana! Scene of the most important classics of Brazilian football, Maracanã has also hosted historic moments of international football. Monumental events, such as the thousandth goal by King Pelé, in 1969, also took place on the lawns of the temple of Brazilian football. Maracanã underwent a major renovation for the 2014 World Cup and currently has a capacity for 78,838 fans. The stadium was modernized and today meets international requirements in terms of safety, logistics and sustainability. New bars and cafeterias provide more comfort to the public, which also has retractable chairs divided by color and produced with certified materials, such as PET bottles. Divided into five levels and in the north, south, east and west sectors, Maracanã bets on divisions to facilitate access and location for fans. Theatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro

The Theatro Municipal is not just any opera house. Since the early twentieth century, the Theatro Municipal is considered to be one of the most beautiful and important theaters of the city and the country. With an eclectic style, the building was inspired by the Paris Opéra of Charles Garnier. You can go on spectacles or just have yourself and your family or friends a guided tour inside one of the city's jewels. The theatre Cinelandia, in the Centro of Rio de Janeiro and also where the Theatro is located, is also a true carioca experience, in there you will be able to go to the Odeon Cinema, to the National Biblary, the Amarelinho Bar and the Arcos da Lapa,  also known as Aqueduto Carioca (carioca aqueduct), that was built in the 18th century to transport water from the Carioca River to the Carioca broad, in order to supply the population around the area - it is useful, but in fact it is actually beautiful.

Wakeboard Classes at Barra da Tijuca

In case you don't know, Wakeboard is a water sport practiced with a board pulled by a jet ski or a speedboat. You will perform maneuvers while being pulled into the sea. It is held in several locations throughout Brazil, especially Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro. Classes are for beginners and for those who already practice wakeboard. For beginners, the instructor explains the techniques to be able to stand. Equipment such as a board, boots, speedboat or jet ski are included in the wakeboard package. Also, you can choose the level of difficulty you want for your experience. Classes are individual and the price varies according to your need. This tour includes accident insurance, photos and videos.
