We'll begin your tour with a stop at the breathtaking Vista Chinesa overlook point, located high up a winding mountain road called Estrada da Vista Chinesa, which connects the Jardim Botânico area with the Tijuca National Forest. Tijuca Park is a protected sub-tropical cloud forest, the world's largest urban forestland, and spans across an impressive 32 km² within Rio de Janeiro's city limits.
Once inside the park, we'll visit the stunning Taunay Waterfall and Mayrink Chapel before embarking on a pleasant hike to the visitors center. The Tijuca National Park is a significant location for conservation biology, as well as research across various academic fields due to its rich biodiversity, cultural significance, and historical importance.
Before concluding the tour, we'll stop in São Conrado to enjoy one of Rio's most beautiful beaches. With its crystal-clear waters and soft golden sands, São Conrado beach is a popular spot for both locals and tourists alike. It's also an excellent spot for surfing, as it's known for its impressive waves. And if you're feeling hungry, you can sample some of the local cuisine at the beach's many food stands and kiosks. Don't forget to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lush forests while you're there!

After being heavily deforested in the 17th and 18th century, the emperor declared in 1861 that it would become a protective forest and should be reforested. Over a period of 13 years, with the help of famous landscapers, more than 100,000 trees were replanted, resulting in the thriving forest that exists today.
