Explore the Brazilian Side of Iguazu Falls
Discover the breathtaking Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls and admire one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Walk along the main catwalk to the Devil's Throat, take a panoramic elevator, and witness hundreds of cascading waterfalls.
The Experience
Visit the Brazilian side of the Iguazu National Park, which, along with the Argentine side, forms the largest waterfall system in the world and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
Begin your visit at the park's Visitor Center, where you can learn more about the park's history and natural wonders. Then, take an 11-kilometer road leading to the main experience. Along the way, you’ll hear the sound of the falls and enjoy views of the lush rainforest, home to a rich variety of flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for many species of birds, butterflies, and even small mammals like coatis.
Although only 25% of the falls are located on the Brazilian side, you’ll have a panoramic view of the remaining 75% on the Argentine side. Depending on the weather and sunlight, you may even be treated to stunning rainbows that form around the falls. Walk along the 950-meter-long catwalk and get up close to about 275 different waterfalls along the Iguaçu River. At the catwalks leading to the Benjamin Constant and Deodoro falls, enjoy the colossal view of the Devil’s Throat, which, at 80 meters long, contains the largest water flow.
Continue along the catwalk to find a panoramic elevator that provides a new angle of the falls. Afterward, take some time to relax at the Porto Canoas dining area (meals not included) and browse through the park's souvenir shop.
