This tour will introduce you the best of Rio's tropical magnificence at the Botanical Gardens or, as the locals say, Jardim Botânico. This world-class attraction is located in the district of the same name. It is a showcase of the diversity of Brazilian and foreign flora, a sea of tranquility in this usually bustling metropolis. Your next experience will be a stopover at the outstanding Vista Chinesa overlook point, high up a winding mountain road (Estrada da Vista Chinesa) that links the Jardim Botânico area with the Tijuca National Forest. The Tijuca park is the world's largest urban forestland, a protected sub-tropical cloud forest located entirely within Rio de Janeiro's city limits, stretching across some 32 km². Once inside, we will visit the Taunay Waterfall and Mayrink Chapel. This snug, simple, pastel pink chapel features murals by renown Brazilian painter Cândido Portinari. Finally, there will be a chance to stop in São Conrado to enjoy one of Rio's most beautiful beaches.
